So I brought my piggies a run, large one so they have plenty of space :)

I placed them into the run today and the froze, wouldn't move! I placed toys and treats and they didn't seem interested!

Is this normal? Because obviously they are outside of their normal home?

Should i keep placing them into the run everyday, so they become used too the run too? :) I'll insert a picture of my little boys in the new run :)

aww, they're like opposites! It's normal for them to stay in one place for a while when they are in a new place so keeping putting them in, they'll get used to it and move around more.

They are doing quite well at the moment! :D they will move around for a little while, then freeze, then move around for a bit longer! :)

Aww don't worry my lot did this too!

They soon got use to it and now they love it and whizz about!

Put some little tunnels/hideys cardboard boxes in too. They will soon start to move around :) Just need to get their confidence up

My 2 piggies Buster and Muffin did exactly the same when I bought them an outdoor run/exercise area too. I draped an old sheet over the top (about 3 quarters of it) and found they then started to move about under the covered area...they must feel more secure under there. They will now run about and popcorn all over the place...they love it and I love watching them!

They did begin exploring more with the longer I left them in! :) I think they will love it in there eventually!
