Rio and Harvey got a new friend today. They went piggy dating and the first pig they met decided she wanted to be boss pig which Harvey was not a fan of. So we tried them with another girl, a beautiful white and honey coloured coronet (I think). We've called her Joanna (JoJo) for short.
At the moment all three are in a neutral piggy cage in my kitchen bonding over hay and veggies. A moment ago all three were cuddled up together all squished under a wooden log bridge. There's been very little dominance displays. A lot of grooming and happy submissive squeaking. :D Once she's settled in a bit more I'll get some pictures up.

I managed to get one good photo of little Jojo. Once she's settled down with Rio and Harvey I'll get her out for a proper photo shoot. The bonding process is turning out to be a lot more stressful than I thought. They were fine when in the neutral territory but since putting them in the actual cage there's been a lot of dominance displays from all three of them. I'm doing my best to just leave them to it and let them sort it out but it's so stressful. On the bright side every now and then I've seen Jojo and Harvey do a little popcorn.
Anyway, here is my gorgeous girl.

Harvey is very happy with his new girlfriend. He tends to obsessively follow her round, rumbling and grooming her then they'll both start popcorning like crazy.

Lovely girl :luv: I believe she is a crested rather than a coronet as she is short haired. Not that it matters which breed she is of course just sharing the knowledge
 
Aw, they're all gorgeous. Great pics. Do they stay on that towel for long?

They were quite good at staying on the towel and not making a mess of my bed, though Harvey did nearly fling himself off the bed while popcorning.I had to make a pillow barrier.

The pictures don't show it well but she's got much longer hair than my smooth haired, which is why I thought she might be a coronet but I agree it isn't long enough now I've looked at more pictures of coronets. Maybe she's a mix. Not that it matters of course, she gorgeous whatever she is.
