Hi
I have a new guinea pig, he is four months old but the family he belonged to needed to get rid of him as they have yappy dogs. They said there isn't anything wrong with him and he's a happy guy and he is but I noticed from first having him that he's quite sneezy and when I looked it up I got really worried.
Tonight he sounds bunged up like he sounds different his breathing is deeper and he basically sounds like he has a cold. He's an indoor guinea pig and I use hay. When he sneezes it's like gooey snot (sorry) he's still eating lots I just feel awful for him because he sounds like he needs to blow his nose if that makes sense? I keep using hay to sort of tease him so he makes himself vertical to see if that helps. Has anyone had this before and found a way to help him? He's being just as energetic and happy as normal but doesn't sound right and I'm scared thanks
