Good morning.
We've had a tribe of 3 piggies for years but am now down to our last one. They live outside although our remaining girl has been in with us over Winter. She's back out now and doing well but I would like to get her more friends. We've bonded pigs before but am just wondering whether to wait until the weather is warmer before adding new piggies as so much socialising would be done out on the grass and also because ideally I'd like them to use our very large hutch rather than our temporary indoor cage.
Thank you

Piggies who are only used to indoor conditions can’t be put out until the risk of frost has passed and overnight temperatures are over 10 but ideally over 15 degrees.
The usual course of action for moving indoor piggies out is to have them out during the warm days (when you can stand on the grass with bare feet without feeling cold) but still bringing them in over night until conditions are right.

So, yes really if you want to carry out bonding day on the lawn, and then move them to their hutch it would be best to wait a little longer

Thank you. I did think this would be the case. 😊
