New Piggie

Hi, I'm getting a large new cage for my piggies this Christmas and my parents have been talking about letting me get another piggie so that beau can have a friend as she gets bullied by her current cage mates. I've had beau for about 6 months with my older piggies and she has never made friends with them properly. How would I go about splitting her up from them and bonding her with a new one? And is that even a good idea to break them up ?

Beau looks beautiful! My guinea pig just died and the other one is grieving quite badly. I would suggest going to a pet shop or animal sanctuary and brining beau along with you. U can ask for her to 'bond' with other guinea pigs and see if she likes one of them as it is better for her to choose than u. Hope this helps

Many good rescues will let you take your guinea pig to them and will bond them with one of their piggies available for adoption.
