I went to pets at home on saturday with my daughter to get fred a nice new cage after his fight with dexter .

While i was getting the cage she was looking at the guinea pigs and she saw a little piggy she fell in love with she has always wanted one of her own she loves the boys and is always playing with them.

we stood looking at them for about 1/2 hour and i said yes she could have one but we would also get her a little friend so we now have 2 little girls called taylor and alabama .

i just about fitted the 2 new cages and 2 piggys me and my daughter in the car lol.

I know a lot of people on here will not approve of getting them from pets at home .
 
We can't help the piggies we fall in love with and it is your decision where you choose to get them from. I am delighted that you and your daughter now have another two adorable piggies to love and I am looking forward to seeing pictures!
 
Congratulations on the new piggies :)

A lot of people here buy their hay and food and all in pets at home, and lots of people have pet shop pigs too. The most important thing is that wherever the pigs come from, they have a good home now. :)
 
You get your piggies and supplies from where you want to buy them from - it's up to you! As demonstrated on here, every one of their stores is different - with people having good and bad experiences at their local branch. Congrats on your new piggy btw…
 
We all know the problem of falling for a furball there and then, believe me! There are not that many forum members you will be legally allowed to throw stones!

I am looking forward to pics! At least, you will always have the possibility of thinking about having your boys neutered and upt with one girl each as an alternative to separation.

once the boys have had the op lol we can then see who likes who but i am going to try and make sure everyone ends up with a friend
 
I have to restrain myself when I see a lonely piggie.. otherwise it would be coming home with me;)
