First, thanks for everyone who supported me during a rough week in which Primrose passed, closely followed by her sister Katniss.
Bereaved Piggy Is Struggling.
Prim Left For The Rainbow Bridge, And Her Sister Katniss Followed.
Finn was a sad boy left on his own and as I was going away for a week shortly after I knew I had to get him a new friend straight away. It's been a few weeks now and they are bonded and settled. I didn't realise how hard it would be to go and get a new guin, especially so soon as I felt like I was replacing my girls. I found it really emotional and it's taken us longer to bond, but she's very beautiful and clever, and is called Effie.
She's about 18 months old and from Coseley Guinea Pig Rescue in Birmingham.
