Brought the pigs in for winter today as its getting bitter cold out in the night and hates to think they was cold and I didn't know. So I'm using the indoor cage I was given when I got them and the outdoor run around it so they can have a open run. There in the spare room upstairs.
Here's when I was setting it up...

I've used vinyl flooring over the carpet to protect it and they covered the vinyl with a big fleece. Needed to figure out the ramp for them to climb out alone. So decided to use the log tunnel but there alittle scared to use it. Think its too steep for them.....

Hope they like it :0)

That's a great space! Bet the piggies love it.

I've got that run which I turn upside down for indoor too. Very versatile.
Just be careful with the wooden logs as a ramp as little paws can get stuck in the gaps.
Much better with a piece of material covering it.

:)

Yes it's just a tempary solution for the ramp as hubby is making me a wooden one ill cover in fleece. But I'll put some fabric over the logs just in case :0)

Just been and brought another waterbottle so they can have one inside the cage and one in the run. Also brought a litter tray to stick in too.
Was in the last night and one of the little buggers but my toe haha.

I have done a similar thing for our two - while trying to decide what to do about a ramp, they just figured out how to jump in and out over the cage with no problem

That looks great, but please could you put some corks on the spikes of the run. I have these grids and am absolutely paranoid about bending over to reach into the run and poking my eye or something on the spikes ! Dont be offended it is just somethng that gives me the horrors.
The grids are really good and versatile ,I have 24 of them for out door use with my big herd.

That's great thinking. I didn't want to chop them off or it's a wasted run for next year. I've already stepped over and caught my legs on them.....and a great excuse to buy wine! :0)
Thanks

WOWIE what a fabulous set up, and good use of space, your pigpigs will certainly be warm and having fun over winter :)

Well it's been a week and they LOVE the new home and so do I. There so much happier now. Lots of zooming around and popcorning. Makes me so happy to see them happy. I'm even thinking of keeping them here forever lol
