This might be the first time posting on Photo Sub-forum, and I wanted to put photos of our new indoor hutch from Amazon.
It has a separate bedroom from the main living space and the bottom is waterproof. I installed wheels and sprayed waterproof spray paint on it.
There will only be one guinea pig living in this hutch.

The measurements are from Amazon, and not from me.
I will post the size, let me look for it first.

That’s quite small, why is one piggie on it’s own, is it a hospital hutch?

From Amazon, I paid $129.99 as shown in the link above.
This can be doubled in size when I purchase another one.

I have two big cages, a big playpen, and now a new indoor hutch from Amazon. I have two piggies, Finn and Lara.

Long story short, I was appointed Lara's pet parent from a friend who didn't want her. Around the same time, I was looking for a casemate for my boy Finn who have been with me since he was a baby. When I got Lara, I bought a separate cage for $100 just for Lara, and many toys for her.
I didn't want babies between my Finn and Lara. Having never been a breeder, I would cause more harm than good if they had babies, so they live in separate cages. They can see and hear each other, and that has worked for us for a long time.
I know it is a strange situation, but it just has to be.
Sometimes, things can't be controlled. I just didn't want to see Lara without a home.

I was just determined to give Lara a home so I decided to house Finn and Lara separately.

My Finn has been with me since he was a baby and I got too attached to him so I was scared to put him under anesthesia to get him neutered. The truth is I never wanted to get my boy Finn neutered in the first place.
