So I've finally put the finishing touches to the piggies new 5x2 C&C with a 1x2 hay loft, :(|) their new fleece finally came today. I bought the Correx from Teacrate Packing, the grids from Find My Supplies, the fleece from Fabric UK and the ramp from Amazon (Trixie 70cm Jumbo Scratching Post). I'm really pleased with their new cage and they are loving the ramp and go up and down. rolleyes

This looks beautiful :) It's exactly how I want mine to look! :(|)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh wowie its huuuuuge lovely, lucky piggies :))

The cage looks gorgeous. We are getting our son a couple of piggies for his birthday (don't know why I'm lying, they're totally for me really!) and I've just ordered the c & c panels this morning, am really interested in how other people have built theirs.

Our's in either going to have to be an L shape, 2 panels on the bottom of the L, by 3 up the side or a multi level one, maybe 2 or 3 floors high.

What do you have on the floor, is it a bed mat underneath a fleece blanket?

What have you attached the ramp on with?

I'm a complete newbie to c & c (and piggies) so want to do it safely

Most people use either towels and newspaper under the fleece, or mattress liners (as long as they're 100% cotton) Some people use bed wetting pads like the ones you get for children, or incontinence pads. It's totally up to you!

The ramp looks like it's attached with cable ties, which are a life-saver when it comes to making C&C's!

Hope you don't mind me answering on your thread PiggieLife!
