New hutch, who should go in first?

We have this lovely new 6.5 feet long double tiered hutch that we got to house Pablo and a lady or ladies.

As guinea pigs are territorial little devils, do you think I could put Pablo in their now or should I wait until I’ve got him his girls and put them in all together when it’s clear that bonding has been successful?

Wait until everyone's bonded and plonk them in at the same time. If you can tell who the top piggy is by then you can pop her in first momentarily before the others. If mine come out for a run daisy is always popped in first but then she's always watching me, peaking out round the kitchen cabinets when she knows it should almost be ready

don't forget to lined your hutch with lino if it isn't already done, makes it easier to clean, sweep, disinfect.
