On Wednesday the formal introduction of Jamie (to be renamed janus) to the group will take place. One to ones have taken place under supervision and no issues (indeed lots of nose to nose grooming).

For those interested Janus is the name of one of Saturns moons and also the Roman god with 2 faces. The pics below are if one piggy.

What a wonderful looking guinea pig! He and Luna match so well. Hope the bonding goes well for you all.
 
I will post some pics of the group on Thursday with Luna, Nova and Aurora and their meeting with Janus.
 
Bad news. The bonding failed. Lots of teeth chattering leading to full blown fighting with Nova having her bottom lip bitten.
 
Oh I am so sorry to see this latest update. Will he be able to live along side them or is it a case of returning him?

Although we were not successful in the bonding, Jamie is a lovely looking piggy and loves cuddles. Really disappointed he didnt get on with the girls but the bonding had degenerated into full fighting.
 
Oh no... if only piggies would do what we wanted at times! (As we have their best interests at heart)

Sometimes despite all our best endeavours sows just take a dislike to a new member of their group and won’t accept him/her. @karonus is absolutely right to return him to the rescue where he can be dated with other sows in the hope that we can find him a good match.
 
I'm sorry he hasn't bonded with your ladies! It's never nice when a bonding fails! Jamie will be coming to me to bond with Roxie as a pair, fingers crossed it works!
