Yehhh my hubby is starting today, to make a new piggy palace! :<> I will make pictures during the proges so you all can see how we build a new home for our Pink Ladies! I’m really exiting! Have to break down our “old” piggy dream was really sad.. so I’m really happy were gonna make a new start! The new home will be lots smaller, but its better for my ladies this way.

:)p

It's gonna look a bit like this:

245x163

He was a little late back from the store, we've got a lot of wood now haha. Tomorrow we're going to start building :))

Once your hubby is done, Can you send him here my piggies would love a house like that!

It's fabulous! x).

Thanks! The cage is 100 by 50 cm.

I'm really happy with the new house! I hope the paint will be dry soon, so the lady's can make their entrance :(|)

There's a lot of ventilation on the bottom. In summer times the window will come off completely :) I also can put the window a littlebit open.

looks fab:)

Personally i would at least drill some holes in the window, especially with it being a cage for 2 piggies as there will be a fair amount of pee

I also can clean it ;) My piggies get 2 or 3 times a week a fresh cage ;)

When there is not enough ventilation, we will make the window smaller or make some holes in it. Were gonna try it like this at first. Plexiglas (do you also call it this way?) is really hard to work with, its breaking very fast when you want to put holes in it.

Are you going to leave the cage in there? that doesn't make a lot of sense to me, or am I mixed up.
I agree about the perspex why not put a couple of inches of wood and wire on the front
