I'm adopting a guinea pig tomorrow to live with my current one. The guinea pig I'm adopting was just sick with an upper respitory infection(he got sick over a month ago), and just got better after antibiotics. Would it be safe to put him with my current guinea pig right away? I would prefer to quarantine him for a couple of weeks but the adoption center likes to introduce the guinea pigs at the shelter to ensure there isent any immediate reactions, so I have to put them together right away. Should I try and see if i can skip the meetup? If its been over a month is it likley that he wouldnt be contagious or is there a chance theres still some lingering sickness?

If he has been vet checked and is well and has been for a month, then, if it is was me, I would go ahead with the date. Knowing you are bringing home a piggy with whom your piggy has already met and accepted is a great thing with dating being the recommended way to bring home a new companion. It’s great they are giving you the option to do it.

ok great thank you so much! I think thats what ill do.
I also wanted to know if i should get some vitiamins to give to him while he gets used to his new surroundings. I'm not sure why he got a URI but I'm suspecting it couldve been stress from being moved to the adoption center, so I'm thinking vitamins might make sure that he doesent get sick again. Would giving him some oxbow vitamin c tablets be helpfull?

I wouldn’t do so, not now.
A good, healthy diet is all he needs.
It can be helpful to give a two week course of vitamin c during a period of illness to boost the immune system but it is not helpful or recommended to routinely supplement a piggy with vitamins.
