i have just been to a rescue centre and rescued two GPs both girls i have a large outdoor shed and have put them in there just for them with hay all over the floor could anyone tell me is there anything else i need to know. Will they be warm enough?, i have put a box in the corner with loads of hay in and at the moment they are in there with there food wand water just outside the front of the box. Also can anyone tell me do rabbits and GP get on well together? :)

hi there, no i dont keep them together but i would like another rabbit as mine died last week i have another shed so could aways keep bunny in there.

no it is bad idea to keep them together as even if they get on rabbits can accidentally kick out when just playing and kill guineas by accident. They can also be aggressive and try to mate with the guineas which could also be fatal

you should give them something to knaw on like a wooden toy etc.. guineas need to be above 17 degrees ideally so maybe a fleece blanket or something to keep them a bit warmer

thank you for reply i will get back outside and make sure they are warm enough.
