Just taken in two piggies females, neither have been tamed but one of them when I try to touch her she twitches and sort of bucks , is this normal or is she sensitive to touch, and would it be kinder for her, if I left her alone, and not tried to tame her, the other one will let me stoke her, and if I'm quick I can pick her up, I need advice please, thanks.

As the girls have never been held it will take them time to get used to it. You may find they are happier on your lap under a fleece as guinea pigs feel safer when hiding.

My guinea pig Shereen is very nervous and it has taken me almost two years to get her used to being handled. With patience and love they will learn to trust you.

I agree, it might take some time for them to trust you, every guinea pig goes by their own pace. But don't worry, they will learn to trust you.
