I'd like everyone to meet the new baby, Lola-Jean!

She's an Abby, like my other piggy Sunny. they've had a quick introduction, and it was a massive success! Sunny did a bit of rumble-strutting, a lot of grooming of her little face and seems absolutely delighted to have a new sister!

They're currently in adjoining cages, so they can see and smell each other, until I get Sunny neutered (bringing him in this week).

I'm delighted they got off to such a good start

They are so cute together! Gonna be a long 6 weeks for him!

They will be allowed supervised laptime together... very strictly supervised :P

She is adorable. I really wouldn't advise ANY direct contact between them at the moment as piggies are miraculously fast and fertile. One false move from your fellow that you may not be able to fend off in time and you may have a whole unexpected piggy family on your hands. And please wait a full 6 weeks after neutering to ensure he cannot impregnate her.

They have had two brief meetings this evening, thankfully Sunny seemed more interested in sniffing her scent gland than mounting her, and he spent a lot of the time rumble-strutting around the cage. I'm keeping contact to a minimum because 1) she's a bit scared of him and 2) I want to establish a bond with her myself first! Don't worry, I'm taking all the precautions advised on this forum... I even doubled the amount of cable ties on their cage in case of any attempted break ins during the night!

There definitely wont be any one to one floor time until he if in the all clear and she's gotten bigger... she's only a little bit of a thing and I'm worried about him being too rough with her!

Thank you for all your support guys :)
