my guinea pigs recently lost his mate and due to work commitments were unable to give him the time needed to avoid him getting depressed so we're looking into buying another pig to become his mate is there specifics I need to look for e.g. Same age etc and how do I go about introducing them safely to avoid fights etc thank you

Whereabouts are you located? We may be able to suggest a rescue close to you that does piggy dating.

Please add your location or look on the rescue locator tab for a rescue which may be local to you. There is is also a nationwide piggytrain which is run by volunteers. If you spot a piggy that may be suitable, we'll do our utmost to make a date x

I assume that was a typo and you meant Piggy Train?
