So I've finally managed to get the fleece washed three times and set up the final version of Brunel's indoor winter home this morning. He's upstairs in our spare room/my sewing room.

It's an old 3ft by 4ft run, whose lid broke.... He's on his own at the moment as I lost his companion to tumors at the beginning of September. We tried boar dating - but it was a disaster. So, he's now 3 weeks post neutering, so fingers crosses he'll get a new friend soon.

In the meantime, he seems to like the fleece and is adapting to the noise of my sewing machine.

:D That's a nice little set-up and Brunel is a gorgeous boy! Unless you have other pets or kids, you could take the roof section off. Make access to that area easier. :tu:

Edit: It's just occurred to me that if you do have other pets or kids, half a roof is useless!

No kids or other pets. I did try to take the back section of the lid off, but the screws were so rusty I couldn't get any purchase on their heads to get them out.

We're going away for a weekend soon, so Brunel is going to stay with my parents in his new indoor pen. I intend to raid Dad's tool box when I'm down there to get the rest of the lid off. :)
