Brought some new fleece for my girls over the weekend as the old ones were becoming a little less attractive! Did my usual prep with them before I put them down in their cage. The girls began pop corning and dashing about in excitement, clearly loving the new fleece! However I noticed it doesn't seem to be wicking. The pee just sits on top then soaks the fleece instead of passing through onto the megazorb. Not had a problem with any of my previous fleeces. Anyone got any tips I can try to strip the fleece of the water repelling properties?

Did you put vinegar in with the washes? I find this helps when trying to wick stubborn fleece!

I haven't, no. The previous ones wicked after three washes so I didn't need to try anything else! How much vinegar do you use? :)

I just put a cup of white vinegar in with each wash and it really helps! The last time I did it the fleece came out smelling a bit vinegary but another quick rinse cycle soon fixed this :)
