New DIY toys

Hi! I have three rather picky pigs. Unless a new, exciting toy (Always has to include food!) is placed in their cage every day, they will just sit in their pigloos, and do nothing for one, or even two hours, at a time. If they have the same type of toy too much, however, it will be used up/worked out in three seconds flat.
So, my questions are:
A) Is this behaviour normal?
and
B) Does anyone know some original guinea pig toys for my pampered princes?

This is normal. Guinea pigs are most active morning and early evening. Mine are quite happy to sit in hidey and sleep for most of the day. I do have toys in the run and hutch but for the most part they are ignored. Have you tried hay stuffed toilet rolls or even a paper bag stuffed with hay? Mine love paper bags stuffed with hay, for some reason (best known to themselves), they prefer Primark bags

I never knew that guinea pigs were most active at certain periods of the day - thanks! I have tried both toy suggestions, but not much luck, especially with the paper bag (All they seem to do is pee on it!)
