Hi everyone.

Thought I would share pictures of my new cage put together by myself and my husband for my three pigs. :)

I previously had my original two guinea pigs Stella and Pepper as outside pigs, brought them inside into a ferplast 120 then decided it was way too small! Custom building is definitely the way to go!

I made all the fleece liners and items you see in the cage and my husband made the water bottle holder! Still some finishing touches to do eg, bottle upstairs and a couple more hay racks but the pigs are loving it and they have accepted Demelza PIG into the family :)

That really is a lovely cage :) Beautiful and roomy. I bet they've been popcorning like made! You've done a great job of making things too :)

Looks really amazing. And the piggies seem to be enjoying it! (Love the last photo hahaha)

Reallyyy good, I love the little top section and all the fleecey stuff...great idea for the water bottles too! :)

how is your fleece attached to the ramp? x

lucky piggies :) :tu:
i have to extend the girls home now i have an added extra , don't expect it'll look as good as yours though.

thats great.... gorgeous piggies too :luv:
xx

I used velcro, sewn to the back of the fleece then used no more nails tape to stick the other half to the ramp so it's easy to remove for cleaning :)

Thank you for that and the photo ! Great idea.. I am getting a c&c cage soon so was looking at ideas for attaching something to their ramp.. And I can make some bits and bobs on my sewing machine.. X

that is just brilliant.

and has given me an idea for modifying my hutch! Thanks XX

Looks sooo good! Hoping to add a second layer to my DIY cage but hubby says not until Christmas bah! :p
