Boar bonding has begun. It has been just over an hour.
It started off very calmly and now it’s constant walking around, “talking” to each other and following about. It’s VERY vocal. Bit grumbly from older boar but now just lots of purring when passing each other from older boar. No humping.
They’re in a run at the moment with a few hides and hay (that was in the middle but now It’s everywhere). I’ve thrown on a load of veggies in after the half hour mark but they’ve only just started eating the food on/off. It all seems really positive!
Trying not to lose my cool (and haven’t) but the little fella is only 6 weeks and tiny!
I am going to give them until 5pm then pop them in the fresh, new cage together. It’s lots of space and lots of new toys and bits to explore. Will they be okay unsupervised for an hour as I have to pop out? Don't want to break the bonding now!
