Last week I accidentally broke the piglets cage grrrr. So I had to buy them a new one, which I secretly wanted to do anyway but couldn't justify it when they had a perfectly good one, luckily I'm clumsy!

Well the massive cage arrived yesterday in a massive box :<> (I could rent it out as student accommodation) and I had a look "Oh yes, all the pieces are there, I'll set it up tomorrow"...Half an hour later set up cage "Ok well I'll put the pigs in it tomorrow since as I only just cleaned them out yesterday"....So a few hours later I put them in their new house :))

Well for a while it was hard to see who was more excited about the new cage me or a pigs. They have a little plastic house which they can climb on and a hay rack and after reading about them on here I had to get them a glass living world bottle with a carrot inside :)).

The plastic house is large enough for them to both fit inside if they don't flop inside it....well they both like flopping so this led to an argument between them and a little spat until they came to an agreement that they will take turns to sleep inside. After so long they swap over, I put a cardboard tunnel in the cage for the unlucky one lol.

This morning I put their breakfast on top of the house to see if they would climb onto it. Well Henry did a run up and threw himself onto the side and then hung on for dear life lol his second attempt faired much better and he clambered up and sat munching away happily....I don't think Alfie knows where the food is but I think he suspects Henry is magic because he keeps appearing with food lol.

My mum keeps on complaining that they're running around and jumping in the air all the time now :))..and that I do nothing but watch them :p

Aww so cute! Please post some pictures! I would take out the plastic house and get them both a cosy bed. It is not very fair for one to have a place to hide and not the other. That is what I did when I had two piggies.

Aw, sounds as though they're loving it x)
We bought the fiddlestick hideys quite recently for our latest couple whilst they were quarantined and they love them. Can be used as little ramps as well. We put one up on the upper level and the other as a ramp but it doubles up as a hidey. Although they are bonded, piggies do sometimes like their own bit of space away from the other rolleyes

The coloured ones are better though as they are smooth (and colourful mallethead)
