Hi, Ive just got my piggies a C&C cage (it's absolutely awesome) and it's on the floor in my bedroom. My piggies old cage was on a raised work surface and they were really confident and happy, but now they are in there new cage they run away from me, especially when I walk across my room. Is there anything I can do to stop this ?
Thanks x

(Accidentally added pic twice and don't know how to remove it)

I find if we announce our arrival by chatting to them it helps.
Cage looks great, lucky piggies having all that room!
Thankyou, Il try that. Do u think they need to get used to there new cage then they will go back to normal?

They will be fine once they get used to it.
Ours were the same when we switched to a C&C, and they are very open compared to most other cages.
What I found helped a lot was keeping one end of the cage covered with an old towel or fleece clipped on with a couple of bulldog clips.
This offers them a 'safe end'.
But that is a fantastic cage you have there, and so much space they will eventually be very happy and confident in it.

looks awesome, yes they will get used to it and will calm down I am sure. Pigs are creatures of habit :)

What a wonderfully spacious set up. My two (soon to be adopted) guinea pigs will be in a 150 x 70cm indoor cage. We have a couple of dogs so it seemed like a safer option (on the dining room table where dogs will only be when supervised).
