New Cage

The boys previously had a 2x5 c&c cage but I felt they didn't seem to have enough room. Once I put all their things in their cage they didn't really have much space,buddy loves running wild around the cage and Jax is lazy so this really annoyed hiwith the cage not having as much floor space when everything is in they seemed to really get on each other nerves at times mainly when buddy is a bit wild which is most of the time. I decided to give up nearly half my room and as they aren't massive fans of floor times ( they sit in a corner sulking until they go back into the cage) I think this is without a doubt worth giving up most of my room!

The cage I have made is 2.5x7 and they are loving it and getting on so much better not that they didn't get on before I just feel now that they have plenty of space to get away from each other when needed and Buddy can be as wild as he likes without annoying his brother.

It looks amazing, and I am so impressed that you would give up half of your room too. No wonder the boys are happy.

I do know what you mean though.
We ordered a 5 x 2 C&C and when we first put it together it looked huge, but now 2 weeks later it already seems like the minimum size we could have, and I am planning to extend.
I am starting to wonder if they ever have 'enough' space?!
I think DH is too, but not for the same reasons as me....
It is only a matter of time before we are perched on tiny stools at the edge of the living room which has been taken over by guinea pigs.
