New cage questions

Am about to embark on building a new cage for pigs, done the c&c and done like it or the cortex stuff .

So plan is custom built about 1.5m x .75m either conti board or furniture board . Perspex on front and linoleum of on wooden floor base.

Am thing of either plywood, mdf or hardboard as the base, will it matter which if Lino is over it anyway?

As long as you seal the edges properly I dont think it will matter
