New C&C cage was finally built today. My fingers are killing me and the correx cutting was frustrating (it's still a tad wonky but ah well!)

But the new shed has their new cage in and they absolutely love it. Had popcorns and Zoomies already. :D

Will get more photos tomorrow when it's light. Only just sat down. Absolutely shattered, but worth it :)

Wow, what a construction. I'm not surprised you were rewarded with popcorns and Zoomies. They must be delighted. Well done :luv::luv:

It looks fab! Where/what are the trays you use for the hay? I made some out of correx but they're a pain to clean. What hay do you use too? It looks yummy!

What a palace! I'm sure they'll do tons of zoomies and popcorns in there! Very well done!

Just cat litter trays :) This is a mixture of VetUk hay, and Orchard grass :)

ive two big litter trays from pets at home and they seem to stay put !@ayemee your set up looks fab, especially if you cut correx yourself, awesome.

I made some out of correx too ! :agr: - they're a pain to clean - won't be doing that again!

For anyone who works in an office - the lids to A4 paper boxes are great .

I use normal cat litter trays. They do move them but they don't tip them

Also, have you secured it to the cage? I can just imagine my two tipping it up haha
I use one of the log bridges to keep the pan down and contents in. My girls don't actually use the bridge to get in but if it is not there the pan is tipped a minute after I put it in. Although I think this is just my momma that is doing this and it may be due to the fact she cant jump very well right now, too weighed down with babies!

I feel your pain Ayemee! I finished my c&c cage on Saturday and it is a third of the size as this one! Well done!

This is a fantastic palace! Such lucky piggies.

I use litter trays from Poundland/Poundworld. Have had most of mine for a few years now and they still look new!

Thanks so much. It's so frustrating trying to get it together but so worth it! :)

:D That is one fantastic cage set-up! Very well done you!:clap: Result? Very happy piggies! :yahoo:I wish I could have my cages at that height, but I'd have to raise the bedroom floor!

Thank you! :D I was worried it wouldn't go to plan but thankfully it did!

I'm glad I managed to raise them off the floor. My back can't take cleaning them out otherwise.

:D I know exactly what you mean! All this bending down and turning around makes me dizzy! My smallest cages are 3 X 4 size. I doubt they make tables that big!
