New boy pigs- Tempermental?

I aquired a pair of 2 month old boy piggies. We've had them for 6 weeks, handling them on a daily basis, hand feeding ect. Today Ted nipped me, and I was wondering if he was scared, or just tasing me. My other boy, Bill, seems to be hyper-active. He just can't sit still! Is there any way to calm them down, and get them to be less skittish?

I don't know about calming piggies down, I've never had that problem.

They are still young and will no doubt be excitable. The nipping could definately be a number of things, he didn't want messing with or still finding out what is food and what is the hand that feeds :{

I've had violet for 3 years and she only now takes food from my hand, goodness knows what happened to her when young.

Give it more time, they are still young. If the nipping continues I have my own way of dealing with that but I don't think everyone would agree with my method. But it works and that was from a very energetic boar who now is happy to give me piggy kisses. xoxo
