The pigs had a great day today. The weather was actually pleasant enough for them to have a little outside time AND I made them a new bigger plush bed.

Here they were in the morning..

Many more photos to come in the next post!

I love all your piggies. But especially Mary's beautiful coat and colour. And the way Opal looked at Mary for waking her up 😍. One of our water bottles used to have a noisy ball bearing in the spout and boy would that pig made the most of being noisy!

Love the piggies! And the beds of course. How did you make them?

Well.. I totally winged it.. I didn’t measure anything or follow any tutorialI made it up as I went along.. it’s really not that great but the pigs aren’t fussy luckily :)) :))

Mary is beautiful isn’t she, love her fuzzy coat as well. She makes my heart melt .. they all do of course!
Opal is always very clear in her expressions :))
Haha yes that’s what Mary’s is like, and she can ‘drink’ for a solid 5 minutes sometimes and about 10 times a day. I like hearing it though for some reason it makes me happy :lol!:

I love all the names of them too ❤️. We are lucky to have piggies in our lives.

My Molly drinks a lot and often. And when I move the water bottle back to the hutch after I bring the pigs in from the grass she always comes straight over for a big drink, even though she had the same water bottle in her run just a few minutes before!

Thank you! And yes we sure are lucky!

Marys the same, when I first got her I was worried she had diabetes or something as she drinks SO often and seemingly quite a bit. But Ive mentioned it to the vet a couple of times and they don’t seem concerned.
I feel mary just loves her bottle and sees it as something to do not just drink. The other 3 don’t use it which is why I always refer to it as HER bottle. Well Patrick often comes over to annoy Mary when she’s having a drink and he tries to drink from it but doesn’t understand and gives up after 2 seconds. He wonders what all the fuss is about the metal spout! :))

What did you put in the sides to make them solid?

What did you put in the sides to make them solid?

Wadding/stuffing for the sides. And then 4 layer of bamboo wadding for the bottom (only because I ran out of polyester wadding)
I used a plate the measure my circle lol..

Sewed the 2 circles inside out togther. Leave an opening to pull it through to be the right way around. Add filling.

This is the sides and filling. Then sew it closed.

then realise that you’ve designed it wrong but oh well I’ll somehow see it together even though the seams are visible lol..

Hannah, it looks fab! You've done an amazing job 😍

I think it looks perfectly fine! There is an invisible (hand) stitch if you can be bothered, but I wouldn’t.
