Hi folks,

We have taken in a little trio of sows - one Mum aged 4 months and her 2 daughters aged 6 weeks. Morgan is delighted to have her sisters in the next cage to her and there is a huge amount of chatting going on between them all. We are struggling with names for the new girls so who better to ask for advice from than the forum. Here are photos of the new recruits. We may try to introduce Morgan to them all but are giving everyone the chance to adjust to the new surroundings and get acquainted with each other. Mum is just a baby herself who may benefit from Morgan's wise old words and is a grand old lady of nearly 10. Fingers crossed they all become fab friends and enjoy each others company. There is a fair amount of popcorning going on now the newbies are in a much bigger cage with interaction with Morgan. As we knew the environment our new girls came from ( Been at our vet for 3 weeks ) we didn't need to quarantine them from Morgan so all is happy in the girls end of the room.

Can you help us out with some names for the new girls?

Lisa & Ali....x

Morgan is the last of our drink related piggies - We not sure about continuing the theme with a new generation. Have thought about a Peaky Blinders lady theme.. :)):lol!: Polly, Grace and Aida.. x

I like the peaky blinder names. Not really watched it but think those names suit them

The name Morgan makes me think of the car brand, so I've thought of three other car-themed M names:

Baby 1: Minx (as in Hillman Minx, and she also looks a bit of a minx!)
Baby 2: Mini (as in Mini Cooper, but could be spelt Minnie - OR completely off-theme: Maggie - as her little white and ginger face peeking out from an expanse of brown fur reminds me of Maggie in The Simpsons when she's wearing her snowsuit!)
Mum: Marina (as in Morris/Austin Marina which unfortunately was a bit of a rubbish car but I like the name Marina!)

My first car was a Marina and it was like driving a boat! It was an awful car and it was only the paint that was holding it together it was so rusty. How I had it for 6 years is quite beyond me!

My Dad had one of these. Anyway off topic lol. Sorry

I like old lady names. Mabel, Dolly, Agatha. That sort of thing. (I do like 'M' names though, my boys are Monty and Mortimer aka Monster and Morts).

Congratulations guys!!

Stunning little ones

Gorgeous girls, I like Grace and Ada not a Polly fan though so would choose Esme myself instead of Polly.

Well we went with the Peaky Blinders theme names for our girls. Mum is Polly and her 2 girls are Aida and Grace. Its been 4 weeks now and their little personalities are starting to emerge. Grace is very confident and is going to be a handful when she gets older. Aida is the loudest wheeker of our whole herd. Morgan is still in a cage next to them and has taken on the 'granny' role but still likes her own space. Theres lot of nuzzling between the bars especially first thing in the morning. They have brought a different feel to the room now and are great fun to watch popcorning about. Managed to catch a quick photo of Polly chilling out chooky leg style.
