I did it!
I gave birth Saturday morning at 6am (Aussie time). Labour was pretty quick around 7 hours I think. I had my eyes closed the whole time as I was sooo tired and it was just my way of dealing with the horrendous back pain I guess. Was funny at the end when I opened my eyes and saw all the midwives and doctors for the first time after all those hours
I didn’t have any pain relief throughout, just a bath once I got to the hospital to help relax me and ease the pain.
Was due on Tuesday so just 4 days early, they wanted to induce me last week sooo glad I said no, had a feeling he would come himself rather soon.
All is well with both me and our baby boy whom is still yet to be named.
We are still in hospital as they encourage everyone to stay for 2 nights and days here which gives you lots of time to adjust and get the help you may need.
Can’t believe I’m actually now a mum. He is super adorable and very needy of course!
Looking forward to getting home tomorrow and saying hello to all the animals as I miss them, and settling our new family member into our home.
Jon is super happy and I’m so glad my mum is here to be apart of it all for a few weeks.
