Never thought I'd return a Guinea because of its looks :(

Well I never thought I could do it...

But as much as I felt sorry for this little fella, I couldn't keep him...

It started off ok then I had a rubbishy customer services email off of the company I bought him from.

Will be interesting to see if they refund my money for the return of this little fella for items not as described?!
Not impressed with the poor quality I was mugged off with!

Do you think he has a bad case of head tilt?

Oh my god! I can't see any obvious head tilt but there are definitely some funny shapes going on with his head... Birth bone deformaties perhaps?

Clearly he needs a vet visit asap.
I know he isn't the most attractive, but I think he might have eye issues and I definitely suspect some inbreeding too.
I think this is a clear example of backyard piggy breeding.

I know I'm a softie... I felt so sorry for this little guy... I felt so guilty packing him back up & returning him.
But I think the vets would struggle with reconstrucive surgery

His nose was a stencilled heart... Would have looked cute on a less interbred furball! Lol!

Looks to me like the original "artist" got confused between a guinea pig and a hamster, and gave it very chubby cheeks and a weird shaped face. Poor piggie!

I think Maybe the original "artist" was under the influence of something, worked for a chemical company & wasn't aware of the mutant gene... or maybe was just pants at their job?

Urm... Harsh but fair maybe! Got it off the Internet. The picture on the site didn't look like that.
It was from a larger reputable company... Or so I thought! I'll not name them until I get my refund or it wouldnt be fair to criticise when they might rectify the problem.
I bought him to match my other one by the patio door, although thankfully that one likes like a normal Guinea
But looks like they used a similar (not distorted) mould.

I still can't help but feel sorry for him tho! Lol!
