Hi guys!

I have washed my fleece etc, but i wasn't sure whether to cut it to the size of the cage before or after washing (i chose after!)...so down the edge i cut there was a lot of oosey bits, i have gave it a really good shake out the back and folded this edge over - our new piggys arrived home quicker than i had expected, so i had to get the fleece down so there home was ready!
Is there any problem with this?

I bought two new fleeces last night, and ive washed them once so far, however i want to use one of them to make snuggle sacks & cuddle cups, but i dont wanna cut them again causing oose? do fabric scissors make a difference?

They are in there hideys just now settling in!

Thanks!

Please wash the fleece at least 2-3 times to make sure that it wicks properly.

There is always quite a bit of fluff in my own experience, how much depending on the fleece.

Yea! i washed it a few times before hand!
Is the fluff okay? I was worried, cos I'm new to this i wasnt sure!

I dont cut my fleece to the size of the cage-I fold it to the size required, tucking under the edges to make it fit.
At least then it makes it thicker so more absorbancy.:)
