Hey all,
Its been a while sense i posted. But i am finding out that i am allergic to the cedar i use for bedding. So,I need something that is cheap but good.I live in the United States. I used paper but the sherreders kept breaking so i then went to cedar which i am allergic to.I don't know what to use.I have tried using masks when i change their beds then washing my hands but it don't seem to work.I am scared i am going to have to get rid of them.I don't want to do that.I love them and would do anything for them.I have got to try my best to find them some kind of bedding that i can stand. So if you know of anything Please let me know.

i know your probably allergic but just thought id check if you have tried hay? if you are allergic the best thing i can recommend is vet bed or fleece;)
vet bed is expensive but you can wash and reuse so in the long run it doesn't cost that much

yep i am allergic to the hay but i still feed it to them but a don't want to try it for bedding.

I would try fleece or vetbed, you just stick it in the wash, its really easy. Initially the cost is high but considering how long it lasts it works out cheaper in the long run ;)

I would agree. I personally use fleece - the piggies love it, it's cute, and especially for Pola's long hair it keeps loose bedding out from getting matted in it, and it's washable.

I think we got 8 cage-sized pieces of fleece for around $70 - $75, really much less than I was spending on care fresh for 3 cages. So within 3 weeks it literally paid for itself.
