Junior Guinea Pig
Penelope that will be 6 next year had an issue with a stubborn UTI in the past few weeks. The uti seems to have cleared but noticed little spots of blood occasionally and orange urine. She had an X-ray at the vet yesterday and discovered a really tiny bladder stone. This is her first ever bladder stone. Vet said she should be able to pass it since it is so small. Penelope has floor time every day to help her get moving.
However I am so confused with the diet suggestions. She does get a small amount of pellets everyday but thinking of just cutting those out or maybe 1 or 2 pellets as a little snack. I seen the forum regarding diet and diet for pigs prone to stones but forgive me, I am still a little confused lol. I know the veggies for the sample diet is recommended for everyday but I have no idea where to start. She usually gets green peppers the most.
I want to be able to create a weekly list and write what veggies for certain days which would make it easier. Does anyone have a list they go by? Thank you in advance!
