My little boars are not fully grown yet and are currently living in a 100mm x 50mm cage. I'm not happy with the size and have bought grids but unfortunately after having tried every combination possible with furniture in my tiny flat, even 2x3 is too big. It's upsetting as I want them to have a c&c cage.

I've been looking at rabbit cages as I want to give them the best space possible and have found the following:

Double corner cage 140cm. Not sure if the two story just gives the illusion of more space as I know the ramp takes up a bit of room.

This has wheels which would be awesome - I'd remove what looks like a wire mesh shelf as a second level or at least cover it up.

Any thoughts?

Ive just bought the double corner cage for my two boys who recently had to be separated - as two separate cages it looks fantastic - i suppose if your boys were really close then it would be ok as a 2-storey also.

I did also have 3 x R6A cages - but got rid of them as i wanted to stack my cages. I would recommend these cages to anyone, especially where boys are concerned as they give oddles of space for them to run around in

Ive got 2 x liberta 150 cages and i use the wire mezzanine level as a place for food - what i did was cover the wire flooring with vinyl flooring (lino) and covered the small ramp with a carpet off cut. Ive got a hay rack with cat litter tray underneath and their food bowl up top, the bottom of the cage is covered with washable bed pads and fleece - the top level is dead easy to wipe clean, and it gives boys a small area they can go if they want some 'time-out' from one another.

The R6A also has a great feature whereby the whole base slides out for easier cleaning - i never used this feature though as i found the top opening and front opening doors were ample enough for me to carry out daily spot cleans and full clean outs

If i had to choose 1, i would personally go for the R6A - only because it's MASSIVE... you and your boys wont be disappointed with it :)

Thanks very much for your advice. My bf and I discussed this tonight and he's come up with some ideas for incorporating a C&C cage into our living room which I'm thankful for as I have the makings of it already (including a rolled up piece of correx currently taking up the whole of my back seat in my car).

Hooray!
