Hey guys

Yep I'm posting again lol

I have 3 boars, winston and albert are the eldest had them about a year, last week I re-homed Bert who is half their size! He is still young I'm not 100% sure how young though. I think about 12 weeks.

any how

They were settling in fine and there was the odd teeth chatter and snort but no fighting and no blood.

Checking Bert he has some nips on him but nothing really bad. Now I have been watching them all this morning and it appears that Bert the youngster is chasing Albert around and jumping at him. Is this normal? They have all been together a week now. Worried I will have to try and re-home Bert as I dont have space for a new cage :(
When I put veggies in there they all appear to be happy as larry!

Also I have read the Boars behaviour post so many times!

His jumping on Albert is probably him trying to assert some dominance. I have 2 pairs of boars that have been together over a month now and each pair hump each other and bear teeth etc.

I check them regularly for nips, cuts etc but they do seem to love one another more than anything (especially Phoenix & Buddy who I refer to as the old gay married couple).

If I were you I'd just continue to keep a close eye on them, unless they really shead some blood and take chuncks out of each other, I don't see why you can't keep them together. Every so often even my sows will appear with scratches from scraps they've had, but never anything more serious.
