Nearly Had A Heart Attack ! Pigs Eyes Closed

The new bonding is trouble free at the moment so I went in the kitchen to get a drink
No more than 5 min's
when I came back Robin was laying on his side juddering ,

I went to the cage and he was only dreaming , but I will have My I pad camera ready , because if
I am not mistaken gp's are not supposed to be able to close there eyes

Do's anyone know whether this is correct !?

Some do and some don't. I have had a few, over the years, who always close their eyes when they're sleeping. Do you remember Archie? He always closed his eyes tightly when he was asleep x

Have a look at my video "Crow Feather Sleeps". Her eyes are firmly shut! I think if a piggie feels safe, she will close her eyes when sleeping. Open- eye sleeping is a safety precaution.
Why would they have eyelids if they couldn't close their eyes or blink?

Mine all vary, some sleep with their eyes open, some shut.

All ours can be caught with eyes closed. I have seen the dreaming as well, well that's what it looks with juddering as you say Gizzy

My oblivions closes his eyes to sleep Arthur does sometimes but I don't know about nemmy as he likes to hide to sleep so he probably doesn't
