Naughty

Hi everyone,

Lately Coconut (who, last I've seen, is less dominant) has been very mean to Hazelnut (Coconut's sister). She's naughty and has already nipped three people whilst they were petting her. She's usually very sweet, and it's usually Hazelnut who is naughtier. Is this a change in dominance? Or is she just cranky?

Please have her checked for small, but growing ovarian cysts. These are usually the ones that cause hormonal and/or aggressive behaviour. Thankfully, there are less invasive alternatives to a spaying operation in the form of hormone treatment or draining cysts these days.

I will, thank you @Wiebke. Their annual vet checkup is coming up soon and I will ask about that.
