My two sister guineas are fight quite a bit. Sometimes it’s on me and I get in the way of the chin attacks. In the picture below, Alis is on the left, her sister Rios on the right.
This morning they were eating their breakfast on me and I got in the way.
This time I got bitten by naughty Alis (the bully) and she drew blood. This is the first time she has done this, usually it’s just a graze but this time it was a bite and she held on. It made me think, what would have happened if she had bitten her sister?

If she was a dog she could be told no, but how do you punish a guinea pig?

To be honest, I don't think you can punish a guinea pig. I tell mine 'no' if they are naughty but I don't think they understand. When mine are naughty e.g. if they wee on me without giving me a warning (which they normally do) I put them back in their hutch xx

Aye, I do the same, I shout at Africa for bullying Leo. The chin thing? I was told this was a guinea pig saying Hello, Africa does it alot with Leo but without the aggressiveness. The only thing I can say, if they are getting physical with their aggressions is to split them up whilst you are not around.

Did you get in the way of food or disturb her, or was she attacking her sister?

If Alis was attacking her sister, I'd think about splitting them up, if you can, and look for a neutered boar for Alis. Rios will probably perk up a lot just being away from her sis and will be happy in any company that doesn't contain a bully! My sisters were squabbling a lot, but never as bad as that!

none of these are an option for me really, I'm going to uni so cant take them with me, no more room for another cage so cant split them or get another
