Naughty boys eating bin bag

I was just cleaning out my piggies and while I was cleaning the top half they were busy eating the bin bag through the bars at the bottom. So my question is, should I be worried? Will it poison them or cause a blockage? Naughty boys!

Just keep an eye on them for the next 24 hours and see a vet promptly if one of them suddenly looks very off and is off their food. However in most cases, there won't be any issues. Please be aware that some piggies are true plastic addicts and will make a beeline for any even before you are aware that they can get at it.

Thank you for the reassuring reply. I could hear them talking to one another so it made me take a look. They were probably saying “oooo yummy forbidden plastic. Quick, eat as fast as you can before she spots us”. Lol. Thanks.
