I have bought a couple of these bags of meadow hay from B&m because the hay we had was very corse. When I got it home I can't find anywhere that it says it's dust extracted. It is lovely and soft but worried, what does everyone advise.

I can put the corse hay back in for tomorrow and see if I can get some pillow wad. Thank you

I don’t think hay has to be dust extracted! My lot are quite happy with a farm bale from the local Farm Shop, it’s grown and cut on site and not dust extracted. Unless your piggies have airway/breathing problems it should be absolutely fine or you have a memberoif your family that gets allergies to hay/ dust?

I've used that hay from time to time as a change from Hay Box. My boys eat it and I've not found it to be dusty. It does have short bits at the bottom of the bag.
I just throw those away.
