Hello everyone, last weekend me and my Mum went to the national pet show and we were really inspired by wood green animal shelters guinea pig setup...Screen Shot 2014-09-21 at 08.26.10.webp
After seeing this I decided that I would LOVE something like this for my herd so the same day we bought a large roll of vinyl and my Mum cut it to fit inside the run - we also bought some herbs, a hanging basket (for a hay rack), a watering can (to plant the herbs in) and a large litter tray that is big enough for 4 piggies! I decided to use hemp for the bedding because I thought it looked very natural.
This is the completed enclosure...P1080958.webp P1080955.webp They have plants, natural hidey houses, a mini hutch, tunnels, safe wood to gnaw and a hay area (where they spend most of their time!)

Wooow this is amazing. Same as everyone else, I won't show my lot this or they'll be jealous ;)
If you don't mind me asking, how much elughky did it cost to make this? I would love something similar xx

We were at the show too! The setup that woodgreen had out was amazing, and only dark because they had a stall tent over it so getting bright pics was hard. Your setup is lovely :)

The grids were £24 with free postage - http://www.superbargainuk.com/Produ...torage-Tough-Grid-Set-System-Modular-Design-W and the vinyl cost £36 from a local carpet shop. Obviously this doesn't include bedding/accessories - to fill the enclosure with bedding is quite expensive however it lasts a long time and they are worth it! :) xx

Simply gorgeous! Hay you tried topping with a layer of hay it would be amazing
Thank you! I was going to do that but it would be too expensive because it would need a lot of hay and they would probably just pee on it haha so they have their hay area in a litter tray :)
