Nail Day...oh The Joys!

Took my life in my hands to do nails today, escaped with only 2 bites from the usual suspect (thanks Bramble!)
So I thought it would be nice to get some pictures of them all. Shelly was so well behaved she was back in her carrier before I remembered to take pictures, Blackberry was firing jelly beans and Leonard was perfecting the offended ancestors facial expression...

Worse than kids, really!

Oh the joy's.....indeed I think its one job I really wish was easier on us and the guinea pig's.
 
My last guinea pig used to scream whenever I touched her nails. It was quite something to hear.
 
Oh dear! And such gorgeous piggies :wub::wub::wub:

Not likely to dream about going to nail bars though... :D
 
They are all just gorgeous! I do my own piggy nails too, always fun!
 
Well done. I always get the OH to help me with nail cutting. It still fills me with anxiety.
 
Definately causes a sweat every time, mainly Bramble..ive never known a piggy so determined not to give me a foot! Theyre not easy to find in all that hair too and I'm sure she knows it
The bites were probably pay back for shaving her bum the other day, I expect!
I very much miss having a second person to hold the little monkeys. I'm going to have to move back in with my Dad haha
 
Well, even with 2 of us last night we had trouble with Violet our little pocket rocket. And as a result of her diva activity I managed to make one of her nails bleed. Only slightly. But boy did I feel bad....
 
They do milk it for all its worth when you snip a bit too far dont they? I used to have a completely black crested boy called Sooty (Yes his brother was called Sweep ) and I only just caught the quick, there was literally a single drop of blood...but youd think we were trying to murder the poor thing!

Agree with the above comments we have a shrieker as soon as you start to hold to clip.... that is only pacified by food.

I really hate nail clipping still
