Ok then i am gonig to check the piggies nails today and clip them myself... I have the help of my housemate who will be able to hold them on her knee but i am wondering where to position myself and where should the guinea pig be for me to do the front feet and the back feet etc...?

I have read that the piggy shouldbe facing away from you but can someone elaborate on the ins and outs please?:))

Well I dont know about your piggies but it doesnt matter where I place my piggies they always end up moving and wriggling when I am tryin to clip their nails :))

I'm hoping mine will be too stunned to move! Its going to be a shock to them i can tell you! they will eb getting a mite and lice check as well (they dont scratch or losing their hair but its worth a look anyway) and a few minutes on my knee being stroked whether they like it or not!

I always found that when I tried to clip my piggies nails they would always curl their toes :(|) If they are sat with their back/bum to you and then you can put your arm under their belly so they can put their feet on your hand. Sorry that sounds so confusing ")
