Nail care?

Hello! Does anyone have any tips on making sure my piggies’ nails are taken care of better? I usually trim them pretty regularly and clean them weekly or so, but I was wondering if there’s a better method? They look very uncomfortable when they’re longer, but it’s a task. Al, my younger boar, has really really sharp claws. Tips on keeping them maintained?

You can trim off just a little maybe every two weeks. They shouldn’t really need washing though, are they that dirty? Because the piggies sometimes also wash them.

I don’t wash them necessarily, I just go and make sure they don’t have stuff in them. This is only an issue with Winston. He’s my piggy that is decidedly less tidy, so I have to make sure his bum is cleaned properly
