i read this means he is mega peeed off. You cant hear it but if you stroke him or get him out you can feel him grinding his teeth

what should i do

Try feeding him when he is on your knee?

Oh I don't know what to advise, have you checked for past threads?

He could well be chewing - they hold onto food in their mouth for ages.

he is a lone piggie at the moment but he has seemed to be a bit more agressive towards us....he is shaking his head if we put our hand in to stroke him as if to say 'get off and go away' and then starts to grind his teeth. Is it now hormones because he is 12 weeks?

He is just telling you as strongly as he can to stay off him.

Have you had him treated for mites? Sometimes they can be the reason that a piggy suddenly doesn't want to be handled.

Maybe he's just trying out different ways of communication? All animals (and humans too!) do it. Playfights, romancing, domineering, it sounds normal for an adolecent. With Naboo he hasn't got any of his kind to do it with so he has to do it with you.

no he is not itching and he is showing no signs of mites at all...even when in his igloo i can see he is teeth grinding quite quickly...

I've noticed sometimes you can feel them moving their teeth but they're just chewing. If you're sure it's not that, then he might be angry or upset.
