My Trio's Favourite Thing

I picked up this box in the supermarket to pack my shopping in & now it's became my trio's idea of heaven! They take their veg into it to eat, chew it, jump about it, head butt it about. Unfortunately they also like to pee in it so I'll need to do another big supermarket shop!

When we get a good box I will often cut out a piece of cardboard the size of the bottom to line it.
Or just use old newspapers.
This can prolong the life of the box a bit!

I need to do this! I've just cleaned them out & had to bin the box, the bottom was soaked in the corners.

I bet if you ask next time you go to the supermarket and explain the odd reason you need it they would have another around for you

I'm going shopping tomorrow so I'll do my best to get as many boxes as possible, I'm getting the feeling owning Guinea Pigs means there's no such thing as too many cardboard boxes!

I keep poking about in Tesco, they have ciabatta in the fridges in boxes that have doors cut in them! They are really hot on clearing them up though so there have never been few enough for me to dare to empty it and grab the box...

I need a big box like that though too, what was in it before?

I got it in Morrisons, it was stacked up in the fruit & veg aisle. Vine tomatoes were in it before so I think the smell made it even more appealing to my trio (greedy trio!). The ciabatta box sounds great, I might have to pop into Tescos tomorrow! I'm going to get braver and just ask if I can have boxes, wheek for them haha
