I'm getting my guinea pigs tomorrow and i've just set up their coop, the ramp really isn't as steep as it looks in the picture but i'm going to keep an eye on them the first few times they use it to see how they cope with it.
It's a 6ft6in X 2ft, the rain kept getting through the window so i've done what my dad suggested and cut a plastic wallet up and covered it and it works brilliantly and the drawing pins also make it look quite nice lol
I hope they'll be happy in it :))

looks lovely that! makes my hutch look rubbish hahah!

are yours living outside when you get them then?
 
Unfortuantly they are as i don't have any permanent space for them although i will put them in an indoor cage in the front room if it gets too cold for them, i'm also getting snuggle teddys for them and lots of paper bedding.
I may also get a cover, only problem is the cover is a few inches too big for it so it will take some bricks to weigh it.
 
Thanks, i will see about the cover as it's 'only' £40 which isn't bad considering the size of the coop but i will see if i can get one specifically for it.
It took me 4 hours to put up too as i've never used a drill and didn't want to use one whilst i was alone in the house, seems completely worth it though.
Probably still going to get them a run too so i can give them longer grass (dad wants them for lawnmowers lol)

Thanks guys, with all pets i always get the largest i can lol which seems to have paid off.
They're going to be getting here about 4, do you think i should let them straight into the run or leave them indoors until tomorrow?
I don't know the size of their cage etc. where they are now and obviously they're going to be leaving their mum and familiar surroundings so don't want to overwhelm them
Just need to get them their hay, veg and p@h nuggets now
